Peace and Love group exhibition in Nuutajärvi Manor house

This article is about the first group exhibition to be held in the Nuutajärvi manor house that is partially renovated, the article features one of my paintings of Aino Sibelius, the love of the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius.  It tells of my starting with an abstract painting exploring the manner in which our brains work and we think, a link to my my biological and medical research interests.  Then a somewhat transparent portrait of artists and composers is painted, as if their skins were made of glass, showing something of what happens in the minds of creatives....  On the theme of Peace and Love, Jean Sibelius was included because I love his music and he was part of a group of thinkers that looked forward to a peaceful Finnish nationalism.  The two portraits however look in different directions, and that too is an aspect of love.
